The wreck of the UEES Flyssa lies on the surface of the moon Daymar, about 220 km from ArcCorp Mining Area 141 and about 157 km from Nuen Waste Management. The wreck is split into multiple parts but the interior stayed mostly intact.[1]
In 2862 on order of Admiral Pavlina Marlin the UEES Flyssa and a fleet of UEE Navy fighters were sent to investigate a report of a large scale illegal mining operation on Daymar and to apprehend any ship involved. The sudden appearance of the Navy forces prompted the miners to flee immediately, while some could successfully be apprehended one ship was attempting to exit the atmosphere. The UEES Flyssa engaged the mining ship which had suffered extreme technical malfunctions that lead to the explosion of the volatile ore on board. The UEES Flyssa was hit by debris that damaged two of its thrusters, leading to system failures and fires that ultimately rendered the ship inoperable. The ship began an uncontrolled descent on Daymar's surface, killing all 65 crew members.
The UEE Navy later removed all military equipment and intended to salvage the wreck, but after the privatization of the Stanton system in 2865, that plan was never carried out.
