The United Planets of Earth (UPE) was a human governing body that replaced the United Nations of Earth (UNE) in 2523 and was replaced by the United Empire of Earth (UEE) in 2546.[1][2]
The UPE was created in response to majority of humans living off-world, thus making the UNE biased towards citizens of Earth. The government was run by a tribunal and a congress. The tribunal consisted of a high secretary (responsible for maintaining the infrastructure), a high general (responsible for expansion and protection), and a high advocate (responsible for maintaining the law). The congress was made of delegates representing the planets.
