The Standard Earth Day (SED) is a reference time marker based on a rotation of the Earth, historical and cultural capital of UEE, in a cycle full day-night of 24 hours. This cycle being different for all the planets, the JTS is used as reference for an obvious reason of standardization on the galactic scale, under the empire of SET. The SED is used in particular to determine the time of revolution of a planet around its star (which we compare to the base of 365 Earth days).
