Spacestation RefineryDeck

The Refinery Deck is a space station deck available at various space stations. At a refinery deck, raw minerals can be refined to increase the value of the resource with each station offering different amount of profit margins for a certain mineral. It is important to choose a good "method" of refining to maximize profits and reduce downtime.

Space station with refinery decks[]

Requires updating with more specific locations. These stations are in the small asteroid clusters in the vicinity of the planets.

Refinement processing[]

Multiple different refinement methods are available to refine minerals. Duration, cost and yield is depending on the process type and the material specialization of the refinery deck. A work order is assigned to the entire cargo of vehicle, and work orders can not be split into multiple. Minerals not included in the work order are permanently lost.

Finished work order loading into a cargo ship
Method Speed Cost Yield
Cormack Method High Moderate Low
Dinyx Solvention Very low Low High
Electrostarolysis Moderate Moderate Moderate
Ferron Exchange Low Moderate High
Gaskin Process High High Moderate
Kazen Winnowing Moderate Low Low
Pyrometric Chromalysis Low High High
Thermonatic Deposition Low Low Moderate
XCR Reaction High High Low

After a work order has completed, it has to be loaded in one or more ships and sold at a trading console.
