The P-52 Merlin is a snub fighter that fits into the hangar of the RSI Constellation. It can be deployed during combat.[2]

"Originally designed to pair with the RSI Constellation, the P-52 Merlin is now available to all pilots! A dedicated parasite fighter, the Merlin is designed to be transported from place to place aboard a larger ship. Boasting a centerline Gatling cannon and a Lightning Power engine, the Merlin is a fast, maneuverable ship that packs a surprising punch! Ideal for racing, local reconnaissance and fast combat." - Store page

The P-52 Merlin has a luxury counterpart, the P-72 Archimedes, that comes with the Constellation Phoenix, luxury touring variant of the Constellation. It is faster & intended more for racing.

Specs Description

Coming standard with the Constellation, the P-52 is a versatile short-range fighter designed to offer support in combat situations as well as reconnaissance.[3]

Insurance addendum

The developers consider the P-52 to be a factory included part of some Constellations. If the ship is destroyed, its replacement would be covered under insurance.[4]
