The Orm belong to a species of hominids originating from Xis in the Kellog system.
This species is grouped near the North Pole regions of the planet. Over the past centuries, it has begun to develop more complex patterns of social interaction and to adopt a very primitive use of tools, thus entering its Stone Age.
Although their culture is of definite interest to scientists, who buy equipment and provisions for the winter, the Orm are of no use for a commercial activity: they produce nothing of value and they are not sufficiently civilized to serve as a workforce.
