A mining consumable was a mining laser sub-item that was used to temporarily increased the efficiency of a mining laser.
Sub-items were activated within the cockpit actively mining to briefly grant effects like, decrease the instability, lower resistance, increase the optimal window. While most had a limited time duration, some were triggered instantly so they can be used in case of emergencies or as an immediate boost. Consumable were either triggered instantly to give a boost in case of emergencies, and others were activated with a delay.
Consumables were introduced on May 1, 2020 and later removed on April 22, 2021, and Mining modules were introduced in its place.
