A mercenary is a player in Star Citizen that has been contracted to engage in combat to eliminate one or more targets, or perform a set of tasks that may be declared illegal by the local government. Performing any illegal task as a mercenary within UEE monitored space may result in a Crime Stat depending on the severity.
