LoanerShipmatrix
In the meantime...
The current loaner for this ship is the Hammerhead, MPUV Personnel and Vanguard Harbinger.

The Idris-P (Peacekeeper) is the civilian Idris variant, a upcoming multi-crew capital-sized frigate manufactured by Aegis Dynamics. It has a larger cargo space than its military counterpart as the rocket launcher space has been converted into storage space, and it has no gun installed on its size 10 weapon hardpoint.

The backer owned Idris-P is announced to be released after or simultaneously with the release of Squadron 42.[source?]

A mark two "peacekeeper" variant developed for the UEE patrol services, the Idris-P strips the standard ship's ship-to-ship gun and spinal mount in favor of additional cargo capacity and superior speed.

Trivia[]

  • Lore initially described the Idris class frigate as being made by Roberts Space Industries. Ben Lesnick later wrote that this was made in error, due to Ryan Church working on the design, and that the ship's manufacturer has always been Aegis Dynamics.[1][2]
  • The Idris was originally planned as a corvette class but was during development increased in size to a frigate class.[3]
  • Purchases of the Space Marshal package, later renamed War Pack package,[source?] made after 31 July 2013 received an Idris-P class frigate, which prior grant the option to spend half a day with Chris Roberts.[4] This package has been removed in 2018.[source?]
