Grim HEX, formerly Green Imperial Housing Exchange, is a former mining operation center used to accommodate the logistical and human resources of major mining projects in the region. As the cost of mining operations in the area soared the mining operation came to a halt the station was in the end abandoned and subsequently taken over by pirates and criminals.
The space station is carved out of an asteroid located in the Yela asteroid belt in the Stanton system
