Green Zone

The Green Zone, or "Habitable Zone" is the main interest of a system. As its name suggests, it is the region where temperature and exposure to the star allow the supposed appearance of life forms on a planet (if one of these is there). The green zone is generally 1 AU from its star, but this distance can change depending on its spectral type.
