The Freelancer series of ships are medium sized, rugged, armed cargo haulers produced by Musashi Industrial & Starflight Concern. The base model is the standard medium freighter of the line, while the Freelancer MAX, also classed as Medium freight, has an expanded cargo capacity. The Freelancer DUR sacrifices some of its internal cargo storage area for fuel refining equipment to fulfill an expedition role, and the Freelancer MIS trades away the same hold area for a missile feed system marking it as the combat variant.
